What is the ruling on a bad intention that its owner recanted, especially if it was directed towards a beloved person?

Al-Bukhari and Muslim reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has recorded good deeds and evil deeds and then clarified that. So, whoever intended to do a good deed but did not do it, Allah records it for him as a complete good deed. If he intended it and did it, Allah records it for him as ten good deeds, up to seven hundredfold, and to many multiples. And whoever intended to do an evil deed but did not do it, Allah records it for him as a complete good deed. If he intended it and did it, Allah records it for him as a single evil deed." And whatever evil you intended but then abandoned, there is nothing against you. And if you abandoned it out of fear of Allah, then you are rewarded.
