Is a girl considered a legitimate wife if her father contracts her marriage informally (urfi) without documentation before she reaches the age of maturity? And does a khulʿ initiated by the father for his daughter from this informal husband count as valid?

If the marriage contract is concluded with its conditions, it is valid, and the woman becomes a lawful wife, even if it is not officially documented. However, documentation is obligatory today to preserve rights. Among the conditions for the validity of marriage is the woman's consent and satisfaction. Forcing her into it is an injustice and aggression that renders the contract invalid or suspended pending her approval. The ruling on this marriage is only established by the husband's divorce or a court order, due to jurisprudential differences. Sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-Barrak stated that the woman is a lawful wife, and the ruling on the invalidity of the marriage due to coercion rests with the ruler (judge) because the matter is subject to dispute. If the woman was coerced and did not consent to the marriage, and the man refuses to divorce her, she has the right to refer her case to the judiciary to annul the marriage.
