Is it correct to recite "amshajin" and then repeat it and connect it to the next verse, or is it considered a meaningless phrase?

The science of Waqf and Ibtida' (pausing and resuming recitation) is important. Emergency Waqf (al-Waqf al-Idtirari) is one of its types, which involves pausing on a word that is not usually intended for a pause. In such a case, one can resume recitation from the word paused upon, if the meaning does not change. Otherwise, one must resume from before that word. Scholars differed on pausing at the Almighty’s saying: ﴿إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا﴾ [Indeed, We created man from a mingled sperm-drop that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing]. Some consider pausing at "أمشاج" (mingled) to be good, while others do not consider it complete, and still others consider pausing at the end of the verse. Therefore, pausing at "أمشاج" is correct according to some scholars, but resuming from it is an error, and it is preferable to resume from "من نطفة أمشاج" (from a mingled sperm-drop).
