Who are the "Khawarij" referred to in the Hadith: "A people will emerge who recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. Every time a generation of them appears, it will be cut off," until the Dajjal emerges?

The Khawarij are a sect that will continue to appear until the time of the Dajjal. Whenever a group of them emerges, it is cut off, and then another appears. They are young in age, foolish in their aspirations, they recite the Quran but it does not go beyond their throats, they kill the people of faith, and they are extreme in worship despite their ignorance and lack of understanding. They declare Muslims who commit major sins to be disbelievers.
