Is what was mentioned in Sheikh Abdullatif Bashmeel's tape regarding Sheikh Al-Albani's wavering عقيدة (creed) concerning faith between Irjaa' (postponement/deferment) and Jahmiyyah correct? And is it true that whoever curses Allah, or the religion, or the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, is still considered a Muslim unless he deems it permissible? And is it permissible to disseminate this tape to warn against the bid'ah (innovation) of Irjaa' which is widespread among Salafi youth in Jordan?

Slandering Allah or His Messenger is an act of disbelief (kufr), outwardly and inwardly, regardless of whether the slanderer knows its ruling or is ignorant of it, whether they deem it permissible or not, and whether they intend disbelief or not. Muslims have unanimously agreed on the disbelief of anyone who slanders Allah or His Messenger. This is what the Four Imams and others have stated. Any contrary view stems from the misconception of the Murji'ah and Jahmiyyah, who believe that faith is merely an inner affirmation, and that slandering does not render its perpetrator a disbeliever unless they deem it permissible or intend insult with their heart. The correct view is that disbelief occurs simply by slandering, unless the slanderer is coerced or has lost their consciousness, such as someone in a severe rage that causes them to lose their mind. However, whoever intentionally utters words that constitute slander, even if joking, is a disbeliever.
