Is it permissible for the groom to combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers on his wedding night due to the large number of guests, traveling by car, and the fear of his ablution being invalidated because of hair oil and the barber's styling?

It is permissible to combine two prayers when there is a need and to alleviate hardship, according to some scholars. They cite the hadith of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "combined Dhuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha in Medina, without fear or rain," to remove hardship from his Ummah. This combination is allowed for a need, provided that the Muslim does not make it a habit.
