Must I give charity for the value of the days I fasted as an expiation for an oath, after learning that fasting is the last of the expiations and that giving money is the preferred option?

The expiation for an oath follows the order mentioned in Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 89: feeding ten needy persons from the average of what one feeds one's own family, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If one cannot find any of these, then one must fast for three days. It is not permissible to move to fasting while being able to feed, clothe, or free a slave. If one who is able to feed, clothes, or free a slave fasts, their fast will be considered a supererogatory act and will not suffice as expiation; they must then perform the original expiation. Furthermore, it is not permissible to give money as expiation for an oath, according to the majority of scholars; rather, it must be in the form of food or clothing.
