What is the ruling on forging a literary certificate into a scientific one to gain admission to an institute, and is the money acquired from scholarships at this institute permissible or impermissible?

Forgery is forbidden in the religion of Allah, and this includes forging documents and certificates, because Allah Almighty says: "So shun the abomination of idols, and shun false statement" [Al-Hajj: 30]. And because forgery is describing something contrary to its true nature with the intention of deception and lying, all these meanings are present in forging an academic certificate, and the illicit money that results from it.
