The child must perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, while being careful to purify himself from impurity and removing the diaper. If he cannot change it and the prayer time has not expired, he should wait until he can change it and then pray. If the time is about to expire, and the prayer is one that can be combined with the following prayer, he may delay it by combining it with the later prayer (jama' ta'kheer). However, if he fears missing the prayer time and it is not a prayer that can be combined with the one after it, and he cannot change the diaper, then he should perform ablution and pray according to his condition. It is worth noting that it is not permissible for the mother to change her son's diaper if there is someone else who can change it for him, such as his wife, or if not, then a man. This is only permissible in cases of necessity, with averting the gaze as much as possible.
