Is it true that a man will have more than one wife from among the women of this world in Paradise, while a woman will marry only her husband, and what is the wisdom behind that?
A Muslim should not direct his attention to doubtful questions that do not lead to action. Indeed, the Companions used to ask the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, about real-life situations that benefited them, and they did not ask him about hypotheticals or sophistries.
Matters of the Hereafter are not to be measured against matters of this world, because their circumstances are different. If a woman feels jealousy over her husband in this world, this is absent in the Hereafter. Therefore, it is possible for Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to have wives in Paradise other than Fatima.
Regarding Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) having two sisters together in Paradise, this is possible, for Paradise is not a realm of obligation.
