Is what the questioner is experiencing—his fondness for conversing and sitting with girls—despite being married and diligent in prayer, an indication that he is possessed by a jinn, or that someone has performed an act of magic on him?

Every forbidden desire bequeaths harm to its owner. What is required is the struggle against oneself and Satan with patience, to remain steadfast upon the command of Allah. For Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and the Fire by desires. The questioner did not commit fornication, but he committed its forbidden preliminaries. For the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The two eyes commit fornication, and their fornication is gazing. The two ears commit fornication, and their fornication is listening. The tongue commits fornication, and its fornication is speaking. The hand commits fornication, and its fornication is striking. The leg commits fornication, and its fornication is walking. And the heart desires and wishes, and the private parts confirm that or deny it." Seeking forgiveness while persisting in sin is mockery. The questioner has no excuse because he is aware of the evil of his action. Hasten to repentance and righteous deeds that efface sins. And if the influence of jinn and magic is true, then the first step to healing is repentance, uprightness, abundant seeking of forgiveness, good deeds, remembrance of Allah, reading the Quran, having good thoughts of Him, and relying upon Him.
