What is the ruling on uttering the transitional takbeerat after their designated place has passed (due to sneezing or forgetting), and is it legislated to utter them upon reaching the next pillar, and what is the evidence for that?

The place for the takbirat al-intiqal (transition takbir) is between the beginning and the end of the movement. If the worshipper completes it during any part of this transition, it is sufficient. However, it is not sufficient if he completes it before the transition or after its end.

According to the Hanbalis, the takbirat al-intiqal are among the obligations of prayer. Therefore, whoever intentionally omits them, their prayer becomes invalid. Whoever omits them forgetfully or out of ignorance must perform the sajdat al-sahw (prostration of forgetfulness). As for the majority of scholars, they consider them to be mustahabb (recommended).

If the worshipper sneezes during a transition, he must wait until he finishes sneezing and then recite the takbirat al-intiqal.
