Muhammad, peace be upon him, is a prophet, not merely a reformer. His Lord disciplined him, chose him, and supported him with miracles. His call gathered his companions around him and spread throughout the world. His greatness was manifested in his patience, struggle, morals, and dealings. Comparing him to any other person diminishes his prophetic status, so one should not participate in surveys of this kind.
