Justice among children in gifts and endowments is obligatory, unless some children have a special need that necessitates preferring them to the extent of their need.
Accordingly, it is not permissible for a mother to specify money for her daughter over her married son as a gift, for the daughter's unmarried status is not a justification for preferring her in the endowment. However, if she marries, she may spend on her marriage what she needs in a reasonable manner.
