And the claim that a messenger will come after our Prophet, peace be upon him, is a lie and a slander, because Allah Almighty says: "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets." And the exegetes have unanimously agreed that the intended Messenger in His (Allah's) saying: "A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures" is the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
