What should I do if my father orders me not to go to a specific neighborhood or more, whether going for a reason or without a reason?

For a mature, adult son, it is permissible to go wherever he wishes for his lawful interests. His parents do not have the right to prevent him unless there is a valid reason. Obedience to parents is not absolute; rather, it is limited to what benefits them and does not harm the son. He is obliged to obey them in matters that are not sinful if there is benefit for them and it does not harm him. The son should seek to understand the reason for their prevention and try to convince them, and he should strive for their satisfaction, as in it lies the satisfaction of Allah and their answered supplications.
