Is taking a marketing commission from a friend who won a tender, without any intervention on my part, considered permissible or forbidden?

It is permissible to receive a commission for informing your friend about a tender so he can bid on it, unless informing companies is part of your job at the company, or you have influence in selecting the company to execute the project.
