Do the unlawful thoughts that cross a married, committed woman's mind upon seeing men—despite her resistance to them—indicate God's displeasure with her, and how can she get rid of them to attain God's pleasure and love?

In his life, man oscillates between the inspiration of the angel, who commands him to do good, and the whispers of Satan, who pushes him towards evil. It has been reported in the hadith that the angel and Satan both have a touch upon the son of Adam. Satan promises evil and denies the truth, while the angel promises good and affirms the truth. The Muslim must strive against himself in obedience to Allah and forsaking disobedience, so that Allah may guide him to His paths, as He, the Almighty, said: "And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good." As for the evil thoughts that come to mind and are dismissed, there is no sin in them as long as a person strives to lower his gaze and avoid temptations. This is not evidence of Allah's displeasure; rather, it is a trial for which the patient will be rewarded.
