Did the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) acquire the strength of 40 men due to his faith or because he was a prophet?

Al-Bukhari reported on the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would visit his eleven wives in a single hour. When Anas was asked about the Prophet's ability to do so, he replied: "We used to say that he was given the strength of thirty." In Al-Isma'ili's narration: "the strength of forty." The reason for this is that prophets were given an increase in their marital strength due to their prophethood, for the filling of the chest with light strengthens desire. Al-Manawi clarified that the Prophet's frequent marital relations despite his meager eating was a miracle, because frequent marital relations necessitate abundant eating to compensate for the deficiency. Thus, this was an example of combining two opposites, and it is one of the greatest miracles.
