It is forbidden for a debtor who is able to repay to procrastinate in returning the debt to its owner, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The procrastination of the rich is an injustice," and he said: "The delaying of a rich person makes his honor and punishment lawful." And the procrastinator is an oppressor who deserves punishment in this world and the hereafter.
