Working in website design is permissible in principle, unless something arises that necessitates its prohibition, such as if the designed website is used for something forbidden. Accordingly, it is not permissible to design websites for usurious banks or companies whose work is predominantly unlawful. As for hotels and the like, it is permissible to design for them, unless a design is requested for a forbidden service.
