Al-Daylami reported in Musnad al-Firdaws, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, elevated to the Prophet, that ten behaviors of the people of Lut were: flicking pebbles in gatherings, chewing gum, using the miswak in the middle of the road, whistling, keeping pigeons, playing with slingshots, wearing turbans without covering the head, wearing Sibtiyya sandals, dyeing fingernails with henna, unbuttoning outer garments, and walking in marketplaces with exposed thighs. The author of Al-Kanz mentioned that Al-Tayyan and the three narrators above him in the chain of transmission are liars.
