The inheritance is divided as follows: the husband receives half, the mother receives one-third of the remainder, and the father receives two-thirds of the remainder. A living father does not inherit until after his death. It is permissible for a father to give an apartment to his son without his daughter if there is a valid Shariah-compliant reason; otherwise, the daughter has the right to a gift similar to what was given to her brother.
