The answer

Friday prayer is an emphasized obligation from which one must not be distracted. Allah has warned those who abandon it, for He says: ﴿O YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, WHEN THE ADHAN IS PROCLAIMED ON FRIDAY FOR THE PRAYER, THEN HASTEN TO THE REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH AND LEAVE TRADE. THAT IS BETTER FOR YOU, IF YOU ONLY KNEW. AND WHEN THE PRAYER HAS BEEN CONCLUDED, DISPERSE THROUGH THE LAND AND SEEK FROM THE BOUNTY OF ALLAH, AND REMEMBER ALLAH OFTEN THAT YOU MAY SUCCEED.﴾

It is also narrated in the : "Let people cease neglecting the Friday prayers, or Allah will seal their hearts, and they will then be among the heedless," and "Whoever abandons three Friday prayers out of negligence, Allah will seal his heart." It is not permissible to delay the Friday prayer beyond the Dhuhr time for any reason. Continuing studies or visits that lead to missing the prayer within its appointed time is not permissible.
