Mastery and excellence in work are religiously required to the best of one's ability. However, selling a commodity that has a defect or flaw is permissible, provided that this is clarified to the buyer, based on the : "The two parties to a transaction have the option as long as they have not parted. If they are truthful and make clear, they will be blessed in their transaction. If they conceal and lie, the blessing of their transaction will be effaced."
