It is not permissible to delay the Maghrib prayer until the time of the 'Isha' prayer, except for an excuse that permits combining prayers. What you mentioned about being busy with studying is not an excuse. Rather, it is obligatory to observe the prayer at its appointed time, for it is one of the greatest means of success in studies.
