Is it forbidden or permissible for a mafia member or drug dealer who sells drugs to corrupt Western youth to do so?

A Muslim is not permitted to work in the Mafia or in drug and illicit trade, because these actions are crimes and corruption. Islam has forbidden alcohol, which is less harmful than drugs, and has considered the Mafia to be among those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger. Furthermore, Islamic rulings are binding on a Muslim wherever he may be, and he must fulfill his covenants and agreements with the people of the land in which he resides. Such actions distort the image of Muslims and deter people from the path of Allah.
