What is the ruling on a Muslim selling alcohol and drugs, and is he still considered a Muslim? And what is the ruling on him working in an alcohol factory, and is he obliged to leave it if he cannot find another job?

Selling intoxicants and working in their factories are forbidden evils, because they constitute cooperation in sin and aggression, which the Quran has prohibited. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed everyone connected to intoxicants. A drinker of intoxicants is disobedient, immoral, and deficient in faith, and will be subject to Allah's will on the Day of Judgment if he dies before repenting, unless he deems it permissible. As for one who deems intoxicants or any universally agreed-upon prohibited act permissible, he thereby commits disbelief.
