What is the ruling regarding continuous flatulence upon waking up, which prevents one from performing Fajr prayer on time? Is it permissible to pray while expelling gas, or is it obligatory to wait, even if the prayer time expires?

If the emission of wind (flatulence) lasts for the entire duration of the prayer time, then one must perform ablution (wudu') and pray according to their condition, and not wait for the wind to stop. However, if the emission of wind is specific to some prayers, such as Fajr after sleep, then the other prayers during which this impurity (hadath) does not persist do not take the ruling of one afflicted with perpetual impurity (sahib al-salas).
