Does one who calls himself a sorcerer or applies this title to himself, without intending the reality of sorcery, commit an act of disbelief (kufr)?

A person is not considered a disbeliever if he calls himself a "magician" unless he intends actual magic, but rather likens himself to having a powerful influence, as it is mentioned in the Prophet's Sunnah that "eloquence is magic" due to the power of its influence. Nevertheless, it is not permissible to use this title due to its dispraise in Islamic law, and it is sunnah to change an ugly name to a good one.
