Some Prophetic hadiths that point to a scientific miracle are manifest in several examples, among them the hadith about the fly and the necessity of dipping it in drink due to the presence of disease and cure in its wings. Likewise, the Prophetic hadiths highlight the importance of the siwak (tooth-stick) and its health benefits, where scientific studies have shown its ability to eliminate disease-causing bacteria in the mouth, remove debris and polish teeth, disinfect the mouth and treat gum inflammation, prevent bacterial growth by increasing mouth acidity, and protect against oral and dental diseases, in addition to its blood-sugar-lowering and anti-cancer effects.
