Is it permissible for me to receive a sum of money designated for me from a project in which I did not work, knowing that the supervisor registered me in the financial request without assigning me any work?

The entitlement to the amount depends on the conditions set by the granting body, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." Therefore, it is necessary to ascertain the conditions from the university administration and whether the amount is conditional upon work or not. If receiving the amount without work is impermissible and it has already been disbursed, it must be returned to the granting body, or spent on general Muslim welfare if its return is impossible.
