What is the ruling on uttering the two phrases "khaqah" and "maa nafsik," which are prevalent among girls, and what is their meaning in Sharia?

The phrase "O son of transgressions" (ya ibn al-khuquq) must be abandoned, even if used admiringly, because its meaning is bad and disliked, and it is used for cursing. As for the phrase "with yourself" (ma'a nafsak), there is no inherent harm in it as a way of refusing to accept a statement or action. However, if it is established that its origin is foreign and carries a bad meaning, then abandoning it is preferable.
