Is it permissible for a female student to pay half the cost of an educational course with her friend to a teacher who stipulated not to publish the videos and textbook?

There is no harm in sharing the cost of a private tutor or purchasing a study guide together. This does not violate the aforementioned condition, as your listening to or viewing of videos is not considered publishing them. Scholars have differed on the permissibility of copying materials whose owners have not granted permission for copying. Our fatwa is that copyrights belong to their owners and it is impermissible to infringe upon them. However, another group has permitted copying for private use for those in need, and a third group has permitted copying unconditionally.
