Is it permissible for spouses to look at each other's private parts, and what is the authenticity of what was narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that she said: "I never saw the private parts of the Messenger of Allah - may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him - at all"?

It is permissible for each spouse to look at the 'awrah (private parts) of the other, whether during intercourse, bathing, or other times. This is supported by legal evidence, such as the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his wife Aisha bathing from a single vessel, and the hadith: "Guard your 'awrah except from your wife or what your right hand possesses." This is the view of the majority of jurists. As for the hadith that prohibits looking at the private parts of the wife, it is weak and not to be relied upon.
