What is the religious ruling on a father refusing to financially support his two working daughters after their mother's death and his marriage to another woman?

Scholars have unanimously agreed on the obligation for a father to provide for his young, poor children who have no wealth. If the two daughters have a salary that suffices them, then their maintenance is not obligatory upon the father. However, if it does not suffice them, then their maintenance, or the remainder thereof, becomes obligatory upon their father.
