If a man dies and leaves behind two wives, one son, three daughters, and the children of a son who died before him, then the inheritance is divided as follows: The two wives receive one-eighth, which they share. The remainder goes to the son and the three daughters, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females. The children of the deceased son receive nothing, as they are excluded by the surviving son.
