What is the treachery that God mentioned in the Holy Qur’an?

Treachery is condemned, and Allah has forbidden it. If the treachery of the wives of Noah and Lot (peace be upon them) is what is intended, it was not in adultery, but rather in disbelief. Noah's wife used to say he was insane, and Lot's wife would inform on his guests.
