Why haven't Indians entered Islam, and why do they continue to worship idols? Is there a defect in their minds or is it a wrath from the heavens upon them?

It is not permissible to marry a non-Muslim man unless he embraces Islam, and it is not permissible to perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance) regarding a forbidden matter. Guidance is in the hands of Allah the Almighty, and the proof has been established for humanity through the sending of messengers. Therefore, whoever deviates from their path has no excuse, and that is only due to following devils and whims. India has a large number of Muslims and is the second largest Islamic country in terms of Muslim population.
