Are the two apartments allocated to the children during the father's lifetime considered a gift, or do they fall under inheritance after his death?

If the two daughters took possession of the two apartments gifted to them by their father during his lifetime, then the gift is effective, and the two apartments are excluded from the estate. However, if possession was not taken during his lifetime, they become part of the inheritance; because one of the conditions for a gift to be complete is for possession to be taken before the death of the donor.
