من هو الصحابي الذي كانت الملائكة تستمع لتلاوته؟

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The Companion whose recitation the angels listened to was either Usaid ibn Hudair or Thabit ibn Qais. Indeed, the two Sheikhs (Bukhari and Muslim) and others narrated that a man was reciting Surat Al-Kahf when a cloud enveloped him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "That was tranquility (sakina) descending with the Quran," and in another narration: "Those were angels listening to you." It was said that this Companion was Usaid ibn Hudair. Similarly, Abu Dawud narrated through a mursal (missing a Companion in the chain) transmission that Thabit ibn Qais's house became illuminated with lamps one night. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Perhaps he recited Surat Al-Baqarah." When Thabit was asked, he said: "I recited Surat Al-Baqarah."
