What is the legal ruling on dealing with a father who performed sorcery to separate his daughter from her husband and to put his daughter in a state of unconsciousness, and should the daughter cut ties with him in this case, or is it sufficient to communicate by phone, especially on the two Eids?

The right of parents to kindness and dutifulness does not fall, even if they practice magic and harm their children. Allah has commanded to accompany them with kindness, even if they enjoin polytheism. Therefore, the daughter must be kind to her father and admonish him with the best means, while being cautious of him, avoiding the means he uses in magic, and fortifying herself with adhkar. If she fears harm, there is no blame upon her for refraining from visiting him and limiting communication to phone calls and offering assistance. The father must fear Allah and abandon major sins, and the daughter must not accuse her father without clear proof.
