If the father does so, there is no blame upon the son if he marries and works without his father's knowledge, and this is not considered disobedience; for obedience to parents is conditioned by what is right. He should balance his right to marry and earn a living with the right of his parents to obedience and righteousness. As for the reprehensible acts committed by sisters, these must be denounced, and they must be prevented from watching forbidden things, listening to music, and engaging in unlawful communication. It is not permissible to obey the father in abandoning this denouncement. As for the father's interference in his son's affairs, perhaps it stems from his concern. However, it is not permissible to obey the father if he invites his son to listen to forbidden music; the son should advise him gently and wisely.
