Filial piety is among the greatest acts of obedience [to God], and showing devotion to one's mother is even more emphasized. A daughter not speaking to her mother is not forbidden unless the mother is harmed by it, in which case it would be considered a form of disobedience; because the criterion for disobedience is harming one's parents in any way. Your distress from your mother's gazes might be an illusion and does not justify you not speaking to her. Rather, you must be patient and deal with her kindly, for parents have the right to be honored, even if they treat one badly. Try to understand the reason for your mother's behavior towards you; there might be a misunderstanding or a shortcoming on your part, and work on rectifying the situation.
