What was man like in ancient times in terms of: food, dwelling, height, width, and clothing?

There is no definitive proof in narrations such as these, except that the height of Adam (peace be upon him) was confirmed in an authentic hadith to be sixty cubits. Al-Tabari mentioned that Allah sent an angel to Adam and Eve to teach them what to wear, and it was claimed that it was made from animal hides. It was also mentioned that among Adam's children, some were farmers and some were shepherds. The exegetes mentioned that the clothing with which Allah has favored us is made from plants and livestock, which subsist on rain. Therefore, it is probable that their clothing and food came from these aforementioned things, in addition to what might be extracted from the seas.
