Does the oath, "I swear by Almighty God, this is the last time you go to so-and-so's house," constitute an oath of divorce or an oath for which expiation is permissible, knowing that the intention was to prevent the visit and not to effect a divorce?

The statement "I swear by Allah Almighty" is considered an oath by most scholars, while some hold that it is not an oath unless intended as such. This formulation is not considered a divorce. If it is determined to be an oath, you may expiate your oath if you see a benefit in doing so, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever takes an oath and then sees something better than it, let him expiate his oath and do what is better."
