What is the authenticity of the supplication: "O Allah, O Most High, O Exalted, O He who is high in the heaven, O Knower of my state and my circumstances, send the judge of relief, and send Your keys and unlock my chains, O He who is not absent from me and does not forget me"?

Supplication (Du'a) is one of the noblest acts of worship. The supplicant must observe the etiquettes of servitude to Allah, and this includes not transgressing in supplication. Transgression in supplication takes several forms, including: praising Allah Almighty with attributes He has not used to praise Himself or His Messenger; because Allah's names and attributes are tawqifiyyah (restricted to what is stated in revelation).

Another form is to commit to an invented supplication and a fixed litany (wird), then abandon it as a primary practice, considering the sufficiency of the legislated litanies. The legislated supplications are sufficient, rendering invented supplications unnecessary. Allah has permitted and taught His Prophet (peace be upon him) supplications for his nation, so one should not deviate from his supplication. What is authentically established in the two revelations (Qur'an and Sunnah (definition)) of supplications and remembrance suffices over all others.

However, supplicating with it occasionally, without making it a fixed litany, is permissible as long as it does not contain anything prohibited, though it is better to adhere to the ma'thur (transmitted) supplications. An example of the forbidden artifice is supplicating with phrases like: "Send the judge of relief, and send Your keys and unlock my locks," due to its excessive and awkward affectation and rhyming.
