Does Allah Almighty's saying: (He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." ... Until the Day of the Appointed Time) represent the persistence of evil power with the persistence of humankind?

Symbolic interpretations are forbidden in legal rulings (ahkam taklifiyyah). So how can they be used in purely factual reports (akhbar mahdah)? If that were permitted, people would tamper with the words of Allah and His Messenger, and every individual or group would claim that a verse or hadith symbolizes a specific thing, leading to the nullification of the Sharia. The foot of a believer cannot stand firm on the claim that the words of Allah are symbolic, for Allah revealed it as an Arabic Qur'an to be understood according to the demands of the Arabic tongue.
