Is it permissible to kill cats and dogs if they cause harm to people, such as entering homes, tampering with food, or disturbing people at night?

If cats and dogs cause harm and damage to people, there is no sin in killing them if there is no other way to get rid of them. What is said about most cats being jinn is incorrect; they are independent animals. However, jinn may take the forms of black animals such as black cats and dogs, because blackness is more conducive to demonic powers.
