We ask Allah Almighty to grant you a speedy recovery from the whispers and doubts you are experiencing, and we advise you to disregard them. If there is dirt or similar under the nail that does not prevent water from reaching the skin, then its removal is not obligatory. However, if the dirt or similar has a substance that prevents water from reaching the skin, then it must be removed. It is not necessary to cut the nail in this case. Some scholars have said that a small amount of dirt under the nails is overlooked due to hardship.
